Responsibilities

Provide technical and administrative support to ensure hardware and software operations run efficiently within the computer network and programs used throughout the company.

  • Provide IT support to staff across multiple locations, ensuring efficient operation of all computer systems.
  • Manage and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications to resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Administer directory for user account management, security protocols, and tracking of COP equipment.
  • Utilize Sharepoint for tracking IT service requests and incidents effectively.
  • Assist in the implementation of IT infrastructure projects to enhance operational capabilities.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and customer service standards.
  • Maintain documentation related to IT systems and procedures for future reference.

Education/Experience and Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT support roles with a strong understanding of operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems, including Office 365 and Sharepoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-oriented with a focus on providing high-quality support.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
  • Experience with construction-specific software and applications is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to travel to construction sites for on-site support

Physical Requirements

  • Meet all conditions of COP’s drug and alcohol testing requirements as a condition of employment, including pass a pre-employment drug screen and alcohol test.
