The Project consists of constructing a 11 MGD nominal 8,000 square foot block and brick building to house three-disc style tertiary treatment units, sodium hypochlorite storage and delivery system, UV disinfection system for reuse water, relocation of existing post aeration blowers to the new building, and (14) vertical turbine pumps to supply “3 Water” (3W) to CVWRF’s low pressure, high pressure, and cooling water systems. Nominal block building site on top of a 300,000-gallon wet well 28 LF below finish grade to operate the 14 each turbine pumps.  The project also includes a new MCC room within the building and supporting instrumentation, HVAC, building plumbing, demolition of facilities at the existing 3W station and furnish and installation of surge tanks and surge control system. The disc filter units are being supplied by Aqua–Aerobics and the UV system from Suez. Site piping includes over 6,000 LF of pipe ranging from 6” to 42”, culinary, storm drain, high pressure, low pressure, and cooling water for the complete operation of the treatment plant, and connecting into the culinary water for domestic uses, as well as tying into the RWR lines that supply irrigation water to the adjacent golf course.
